It was not a rumor. I gave the audio link that talks in details about the whole situation. If someone knows Chinese can post a translation, that will be great.

I think that the words from Su is legitimte. He is a very close friend of Yao.

And also that's why I am only posting on the NBA dish board instead of the game board.

I always thought that Yao was never going to leave Houston for LA, now I am not sure.

If it came out of Yao's mouth directly, it would be way too late.

This is contrary to the article that was posted in the Chronicle last week which said that Yao loves it here, Team Yao still likes how the organization deals with him, and that Yao considers CD as almost family.

We'll find out for sure this summer when they go to sign him to an extension.

Su is not close to Yao. I remember last year he said only Yang Yi
    has insider information about Yao.

I mean it would be too late if Yao came out with "I am thinking of going to Lakers" and Feign used the quote in the Chronicles.

That's good to hear because Su directly quoted what Yao told him during several conversations. I guess that Su also quoted several other Chinese reporters in the knowing.

Su was asking the Chinese reporters to have Kobe make some overture about welcoming Yao to LA, and...Kobe told the reporter(s) after the loss to the Spurs: " I love him. I am waiting for him to come here (for the game on Friday? or more...)."

Rudy wants Yao. He said:"Yao will be my best Christmas gift."

Yao is still not happy about what Kobe said after Yao and Shaq went against each other last season.

After the game last night against the Suns, Yao told the reporter that the best thing of the game is that we lost. In the eyes of the Chinese reporters, he does not care about *** any more.

Crap or not. This was a direct quote from Yao by the Houston Chinese reporters after last night's game. The articles appeared on line today. It seems that Yao was very unhappy and frustrated about how he is used in this run and gun offense.

It's funny that all your posts are linked to a chinese site that no one here can read except you. I guess you can make up whatever you want until another chinese poster confirms it for you. I think we're all waiting for that to come.

The thing is: it's just virtually impossible for Yao to leave Houston.

    End of discussion.

I think Kobe is going to try and get Yao some points at the All Star game...

Shaq will be guarding him you know... :)
