Yao is NOT done. He was playing great except for the last minute, which has always been his weakness. However, Yao is done with the Rockets after this season.
Playing great? "okay he's got the ball, (Yao thinks about what he should do for nearly 8 seconds), okay turn around jumper. dang missed shot" can't get the rebound and does the same thing over and over again down the court. He's just annoying to watch, I hate his play. If he can't perform like he did in 06-07 prior to injury, I don't want him on this team. It's time for the Rockets to let him go. Waive or trade. Doesn't matter.
No way man. I love yao but everytime he runs its like im saying please dont get hurt. I noticed it when he couldn't get a defensive rebound and was out jumped. Sure Yao has never had hops, but you can see he is DONE. Sure he can hit a open jumper and a hook every now and then, but no way is this going to work out. Yao will retire after this season.
WRONG. Hill made some nice defensive plays and hustle rebounds that we desperately needed. If it wasn't for this effort on the boards, we would have gotten blown out.
Yao can't get in any flow in the 4th when he sits the first 6 minutes and then comes in when it is clutch time. We need to keep Yao out of the entire 3rd and play him the whole 4th quarter.
missed 1 crucial rebounds 15 pts, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks in 21 minutes 0 Turnovers Ya he is done, if this proves anything, we are desperately in need of a 30+ Yao to help stabilize the rotation.
four games in to a comeback and everyone wants to jump ship on yao...disgusting but not surprising. front running rockets fans are in great supply right now. this year is the comeback year, next year is the be back year for yao...and dont forget it
