Ok before you start flaming me for no reason atleast know that I'm a huge Rockets fan that has been a fan of the Rockets all my life. I'm not here to just bash the Rocket's players.

Last night was such a horrible game. Yeah the Rockets could have won that game, but no way did they deserve it. Francis made some of the stupidest passses in the history of the game. This is the NBA and Francis passess like 10 feet behind Jackson, not once, but twice. Makes you wonder how he even made it to the NBA and went #2 is the draft.

Yao is softer then any player in the game I think. He just stands around and does picks. He shys away from contact, he wont back it into the paint for the easy dunk. Shaq does it, why not Yao? Yao is plenty big enough to do it, but he is too soft to do it. He would reither just just shot a 15 foot jumper that he most of the time he clanks. Yao is 7-6, but he will not use his size.

The Rockets will not win this series. If I had to guess I would say the Rockets get swept or win only one game. The Lakers had a off game, but they will come back with force. The Rockets have no idea what they are going to do on offense, and Yao is too soft to do anything.

I hope the Rockets trade not only Francis this offseason, but Yao too if they can get the right guy or guys for him. Trade him now while his value is high. Maybe the Nuggets would trade Carmelo for Yao, if so the Rockets need to jump all over that. Sad thing is the word is starting to get out that Yao is just a 7-6 softy. He may get you 20-10 in his prime, but it will be a quiet 20-10. He will never dominate the game, he is way too timid.

    So, the Rockets stink.

    The Rockets will get swept.

The Rockets should trade Francis and Yao.

So why exactly did all this garbage needs its own thread????

I dont know what game you were watching but first of all Yao was banging hard with Shaq - and they were both slapping the hell out of each other...

And as for Francis - yes he was turnover prone but honestly I htink his wrist was really killing him last night. But hell you gotta give him dibs for playing thru pain. Just like Malone is playing thru pain as well..

Funny how you say the Rockets are terrible, but easily forgive the Lakers when they won by one point. Anyone that starts a post saying "I am a lifelong fan and I love the Rox, but...." usually is about to make a post that is something that is the most anti-Rox thing you have ever read.

Rocket played with heart last night in a hostile enviroment and lost by one point. Steve had his turnovers, but he came through in the clutch when we needed him. And as far as your Yao bashing, you think that Shaq is like Darrell Armstrong or something. Shaq is a dominant player, he has the body for banging inside, gets calls, and is a veteran who knows exactly what he can and cannot do. With that said, I thought Yao played a hell of a game. Just because he is not Shaq II, don't dis the man's game.

I understand you are disappointed in the lost, but give your "supposed team" some props.

That is such a bad trade for the Rockets. How can you really think that would help the team?

Everybody will shut up if Rockets loses tomorrow by 20 points, both SF and YM are not superstar yet, they are just blue-collar hard workers.

The Rockets where terrible. But they are like that every game they play. We all know how good the Lakers can be. All we know about the Rockets is that they are streaky sometimes. Lakers got nothing from Kobe, Karl, Fox, Fisher, Payton, and still won the game. I'm not saying Yao is Shaq II, but I want to see him crash the boards, go to the hoop, or throw down some dunks with power. Did anybody see that dunk by Tim Duncan when he was guarded by two Grizzlies? Yao should be doing that, but he is afraid or something. Even Mo Taylor will take to the hoop, and he is only like 6-7 or 6-8.

Great threads always start with this,

    1) I'm a diehard rockets fan or houstan fan or I'm a rocket fan for my life.

    2) bash, trash one player or the team

    3) trade proposal

Maybe because I wanted to discuss this? Did that ever cross your mind. I get tired of all the posters on this site that think just because they have a few thousand post they can boss everyone around. Or if they don't like a thread they come in and post garbage just like you did in this thread. I have over a thousand post, but I don't think I'm any better than someone with 50 post. There are alot of people with big heads on this site. Just let people discuss stuff, if you don't like the thread don't post in it.

Rockets don't trust Yao any more in Shaq vs. Yao since last lose. He didn't get a chance to warm up his hands. He won't get feed like the 1st meet this season when he shoot only 4/11 in 1st half but still got balls. Last night at the beginning of 3rd quater right after he made a field goal over Shaq, he didn't touch the ball for 4 to 5 possessions.

Why not stop this f****** trade thread after a close game in LA?
Now it is not Rox, but some fans let you feel frustrated.

OK, before we start flaming you for no reason? Gee, you come on a Rockets board and post negative comments about our two best players during the first playoff series we have been in in over four years, we lose by 1 point, and you expect, what, that no one is going to criticize you for your views? Last I checked, this is a message board in which everyone has the right to voice his/her opinion. And I think that your analysis is not only short-sighted, but also il-timed.

And if your message was meant to be completely sarcastic- well, you could have at least made it somewhat funny.
