In the sports section of the Houston Chronicle today, there is an ad for Rockets season tickets and mini plans. Yao can be seen wearing the new home jersey in this ad. You get a shot of Yao from just below his shoulders. You can see the jersey will be white an the ellipses. It's a small picture, but from what you can see, they look sweet. Can anyone post a pic?
I'm in no position to do it now..but if it hasnt been done by the time I get home..Ill get the pic scanned. I imagine that someone will get it done by then tho..
how do u post an image? I saw the ad in the chronicle. You can only see the top part of the jersey directly above where rockets would be. this is B/c it is at the bottom of the page. Yao has his arms spread out showing his wing span with baskeballs in both hands. Above yao is the New rockets logo and the slogan BE BIG.
Where exactly is this picture or ad. I cant find it anywhere. Is it because you guys are playing around or what. I need some feedback. Thanks
It's in todays Houston Chronicle's Sports page. On the first page when you open it on the bottom under the comets stuff.
Billboards started going up today with a similar image, but in color. We have about 10 going up right now, and we've confirmed that two are already in place. Tim
so is anyone gonna scan the pic? im in austin and the only place i can think of to get a chron is on campus.. and i live south
Sorry guys, can't post the picture from work. Tim, I wanted to thank you and everyone else there with the Rockets for giving discounts to those who purchase season tickets or mini-plans. A lot of people have been vocal about the lack of such a mechanism in the past. Also, huge props for including the opening game against the Nuggets in BOTH plans. I think you guys are doing a fantastic job catering to the fans and increasing interest and awareness in the product. I hope that you guys over there keep up the good work and nothing but success in the new building. Can't wait for the first game!!
the Chonicle usually has all their ads availible to view on-line but for some reason this one isn't on their site.
The only questionable part of the jersey pictured is that there is a quite defined V-neck. It is red and goes down farther than a typical V-neck. However, it is possible that this is just an illusion because Yao is wearing it, and quite frankly, nothing looks exactly normal on Yao.
Here's a video game representation of the new uniform... http://www.teamxbox.com/images/games/ss/651/1060584345.jpg
