How do you guys think Yao will be treated by the other stars during the game? Will he get touches? or will they give him the rookie treatment?
Hmm...I wouldn't think about it. Just enjoy the game! I'm sure Yao will get to play and will get to shoot. They will probably only pass it to him once. And if he scores, everyone will cheer...but if he doesn't...they'll all be AWWWWWWWW. I hope he scores at least 10 points and has one monsterous block.
I want to see him nail a 3 in the game since its exhibition and all. Some no look passes would be nice too.
I think his Western Conference teammates will treat him great. He's earned the respect of them, imo. I just hope he's able to soak in some of their knowledge.

GOD. I'd rather see Steve Francis and Steve Nash and Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki and Yao Ming together instead of Steve and Stephon together. I'D RATHER VIEW SHAQ AND YAO PLAYING SIDE BY SIDE instead of Marbury and Francis. That would be trouble. But I am sure Peja Stojakovic will be "EARNING" a lot of playing time. Or maybe Rick Adelman is a very fair and just and unbiased coach. I'm sure he will let Yao play the entire game! I hope Stephon trips.
I think Yao and his humble approach to the game will make his first appearance in the ASG a smooth one. I sure like to see both Shaq and Yao in the game together. That would be the ultimate twin-tower.

That will be so cool. I was also thinking about that possibility. But I think Shaq will only be content if he gets to play center. Also, it would be cool to see Dirk, Garnett, Duncan, Shaq and Yao play at the same time.
yao will only gets the ball or any other player if stevie is handling the ball..other wise..kobe bryant will try to shoot up every shot he have a chance...i hope he's not gonna be the mvp..he's a VERY selfish player...he takes at LEAST anywhere from 35-40 attempts per game..
What I would like to see: 1. Shaq's close up face while sitting on the bench. 2. Yao makes a 3 pointer. 3. A dunk-contest caliber dunk from Francis. 4. Some no look passes from Yao. 5. Alley-oop from Francis to Yao or vice versa. 6. Shaq and Yao play together. Would be even better if they are teamed up with Duncan, KG and Dirk. Wow.
Steve, in order to earn his respect among other guys, will avoid passing to Yao too much. He will make sure that Yao scores once with his assist and that is it. Kobe will treat Yao nicely in the 1st quarter, knowing the number of TV audience in China. (Yao won't play the 2nd quarter.) Then he will start trying to show off himself, also because of him knowing the number of TV audience in China.
i'm guessing that yao will take 5 shots, make 4 of them, goto the line 4 times, get 8 boards & dish 6 assists and have 3 huge blocks. a nice & tidy boxscore (4-5, 4-4, 8, 6, 3). all in under 20min of PT He will get most of his PT and points in the 1st quarter, but then most of the others will start thinking about the marketing potential in china and try to hog the spotlight/ball. For this reason, there will be some wild passes directed to him (as the bail-out option on a stupid drive), hoping to make the international play-of-the-day clip. Vince will give him a big hug before the game... and cameras. Kobe will pass him the ball more often than to any other player, twice, with the exception of shaq, who he will pass to three or four times.
