Bonzi and Yao should be a couple, they match perfectly. The two should be on the court at the same time, they have some soul connection.
In the words of Drexler." He is a Spurs Killer, He plays big against the San Antonio Spurs, I think it's because he's a competitor." WTF You OK Clyde??
step up whenever we play the Spurs , and play a regular bonzi for the rest of the season. I like ups and downs. Yao-Sf3-Tmac-Bonzi.......what's wrong with this masculine league
I think yao and bonzi works wonderfully together as yao sometimes miss a rebound, bonzi's there to recover it. They are also EXTREMELY effective in the low post together. Bonzi being very unselfish and an excellent low post passer and scorer. I bet they have one of the highest efficiency as two players in the Rockets at lenovo stats.
Hopefully this is Bonz's breakout game and he can deliver this type of performance on a nightly basis...
Was anyone else reminded of Charles Barkley with the way Bonzi played tonight? I had a 1997 flashback.
Bonzi's ass kinda jiggles the same way as Chuck's when he runs. No? On a more serious note, I think board crashing, by Yao, Hayes, Wells, and the rest of the team will be a key to the Rockets success against some of the better teams, particularly PHX, this year. They are not going to be faster than every other team, and may not be at full throttle on offensive efficiency for some time, but they do have guys with a nose for the loose ball and need to use it to beat down the faster but smaller teams.
Bonzi has made some ridiculous passes to Yao... and Yao does a great job finding him when he's playing the high post. Definitely feeling the vibe.
I don't always understand Clyde, but I actually understood that one. Competitive players get up and do well against better teams. Like Bonzi said in the post game "They are the Champs, if you can't get up for a game against them you shouldn't be playing" Bonzi had a really good night. I am glad cause I was getting worried about him. I loved Chuck's "Bonzi was inspiring" Yao and Bonzi are working well together because Bonzi was one of the only people who knew when to get Yao the ball in the offense. Plus he realized that if he kept feeding Yao eventually Yao would find him underneath for some of those stat helping layups. And they did. Now if we can just get everyone else moving freely and not staying in one spot when the game gets close we will be up there with the elite.
Soul Connections. I love that. Could anyone post here the official Lenovo stats so that we can evaluate the credibility of Lenovo?
