Great game. Yao and Team China now make it to the top eight.

His game is getting better and better. But he seems really tired in the fourth quarter.

Late in the fourth it was 54-52 and China was up. Germany had just made a run to get the score at 54-52 because China had like 13 point lead... then Yao hit a turn around jumper that made the score 56-52. That was a big shot! Then Dirk came back and hit a 3 pointer to make the score 56-55. After that I remember Yi hitting a huge shot and Yao drawing a foul and hitting a free throw but Yao and Yi stepped up when China need them we know what Yao's line was. Eventhough Yao looked tired he came through when China needed him and we are seeing improvement.

Copyright is strictly protected by IOC. The stream just works in China.

Sorry, I'm not aware of that. I'm trying to download it and then embedded it in my next post. Just trying, not sure it will work.

You can upload it to Youtube. But the speed is intolerable. PS: All the Video clips about Olympics on Chinese websites are prevented from oversea IPs.

Oh at end of the game Yao took a charge from Dirk! Would have been a foul on Yao in NBA 100% of the time. Great to see some calls going Yao's way!

Sun Yue played amazing, 3 critical blocks on a wide-open layup (one of them is on Dirk hahaha)

little by little the big man is getting back.

    fantastic for him.

    fantastic for us.

everyone was so quick to claim that he was never going to be the same after the foot injury.

we should all be happy that he is able to play in the olympics...it will help him come NBA time.

one problem right now is that he gets tired very fast. which is normal after an injury

China is actually getting Yao the ball these past two games. Liu Wei continues to play so bad that he makes V-Span look like T-Mac, really. I'm curious, how do they determine who plays who in the next round?

No. Name MIN Field Goals 2 Points 3 Points Free Throws Rebounds AS TO ST BS PF FO PTS M/A % M/A % M/A % M/A % OR DR TOT
    13 YAO Ming 34:27 9/19 47 8/18 44 1/1 100 6/10 60 4 7 11 2 2 1 3 11 25

Is it me, or is Yao trying to get at least one 3 pt in per game? Is he getting ready to bring that to his NBA game? Hope he gets his free throw % back up to form, and Im sure he will.
