Wojnarowski says Morey's offered McGrady to virtually anybody who's been interested. Only team still keeping tabs on him is Miami.

If it goes beyond the trade deadline, he will probably be bought out....

I don't think rockets will play him unless we have an injury, might as well waive him, he can help the celtics win a championship :(

There is zero reason to by him out.

When the trade deadline nears it'll be a whole different story.

    Yeah, there is....

Tracy will want a bigger role and a chance to prove himself, and the Rockets will want to pay him less $$$$....

It is staggering how people can't see the forest through the trees.

Why on earth would the Rockets buy out TMac with his contract expiring and the season nearing its end past the trade deadline? Makes no sense. Your hate never ceases to amaze me.

After the TRADE deadline...IE, they can't trade him.......they would be better off buying him out to save some money.........

And Tmac would be BETTER off going to a team that he could play his game and earn a bigger contract.

Letting insurance keep paying his salary is the most sensible option in the whole "Okay, he's not going to play PERIOD" scenario.

I really hope T-mac doesn 't get traded. At least, if he does, i say send him to the celtics or miami..
This actually sounds good......but i say we keep t-mac on the rockets. at least if we decided to trade him,
do this kind of trade, do what's best for the rockets. good luck to both t-mac, and the rockets (with or without tmac).

No, that won't last much longer...insurance will stop at some point......and the Rockets will be forced to trade him etc......or play him....

    LT.

If McGrady accepts a buyout for $2.6M less. Rockets save that $2.6M + $2.6M of LT + qualify for the tax pool money c. $4M = $9.2M

Ok genius why don't you school us on this subject then... After the deadline and he is still here they buy him out for what??? they went this long with him why not wait another 2 months so his contract can expire.

Its not like we are going to get anything out of it if they buy his contract out. Who is out there that is a respectable free agent??? Hmmmm plz tell me.

Your hate for Tracy is just plain tiring now and its getting annoyed. Im sure everyone knows you don't like him but must you repeat the same thing OVER N OVER N OVER N OVER again on every McGrady thread. Guys know you can't stand him.

You got your wish with Ron Artest being gone. Just wait til the season is over and your second wish may come true.
