    I like it how rockets are #8 on ESPN and NBA.com, but 13 on yahoo...I can tell they watch a lot of hoops.

    my son is practicing really hard everyday...he's a Rocket fan and would really like to play for the Rockets. He's not afraid of air travel. Can we move up a few spots?

    Yahoo is r****ded.

    Someone who is in the D league, hasn't played a game in the NBA, affects our rankings :confused:

    They might as well have said Matt Maloney was given a horrible contract a decade ago, so the Rox are ranked # 13

    Translation: Yahoo had exactly zero to say about the Rockets, so they just went with whatever they remembered in the news about the Rockets over the last month or so, oh, that Royce White guy! Let's just say something about him! They must have had a substitute or something.. ;)

    In all fairness, yahoo may just bring up the news for RW along with the ranking. There's no proof the ranking is in any way affected by that.

    Marc Spears may as well have come up with a correlation to cheese and the Bucks or, he should've just committed and run with the format and applied it all the teams. That would've been good for at least a few giggles till the next power rankings.

    interesting....usually it's yahoo! and not espn that provides good content..

    after all, espn's "sources" are always jsut yahoo guys reporting the news
