Da'Rell is going to offer him $1.00 shy of a Max Contract.

Teams just dont care about expiring contracts any longer. With the massive cap increases, teams arent valuing flexibility...they are putting a premium on talent. Some teams may need larger contracts to ensure that they are operating above league min...but I dont think anyone is desperate for Lee's contract.

In a league that demands tons of competition, it becomes imperative that the rest of the league find a way to break apart pieces of a winning team. Its what Mark was trying to do with the Rockets when he signed Parsons to his offer. Teams are gunning for the Warriors...especially the Rockets. I dont think the Warriors are just going to let Green walk without a fight...but its gonna cost them something of value: ie. Barnes. A package with Lee and 1st might not even be enough...TO get the attention of other GM's Barnes may have to be included whether they like it or not.

Good luck suckers...I hope everything starts falling apart.

Could the Rockets use Draymond Green? Yup.
Are they gonna offer him a deal? Yup
What about the Hawks? They suck.

    I will say this.

If Rockets were to somehow get Green, it might be even better than getting LMA.

Not only do Rockets get a defensive specialist at 4 that can also make threes, but in doing so they become better than the Warriors.

For the Warriors it is simple. Give him the max and he stays. Do not give him the max and he leaves for whomever gives him the max.

I know the Rockets have no interest in paying him the max.

What I guarantee they do have interest in though is making sure the team that just eliminated them from the playoffs pays the max to keep him and created some financial turmoil down the road in trying to keep their team in tact.

I don't really get this report. Rockets don't have max cap room and Warriors are going to match. Aldridge and other unrestricted free agents may make sense if they want Houston... Rockets could then clear cap or try to work a sign-and-trade.

This doesn't really make sense to me.

Did you watch the WCF, Green was horrible shooting three pointers. I know he can hit them, my eye test says he is not that consistent. LMA is a better option to me.

Really a silly rumor. At least make the rumors plausible. Ask yourself how would we sign him. We can't not unless green and GS agree to a SnT. In what world would GS agree to a Snt with us. That would a Harden Howard world. Maybe a DMo Capela together world. Why would do that.

It's fabricated BS probably leaked out of someone in Green's camp. More suitors, more money. Morey would never leak that unless it benefitted us.

Yeah we want green and we can offer him the full MLE. "Hahaha"... is what Green would say. Whose Green's agent. Does he have any ties with Houston. Perhaps we're returning a favor by not refuting it. Lots of leaking and posturing and lying this time of year.

Don't think it will happen, but I would love to have him on this team. He is the epitome of a player you love when he is on your team and hate when he is on the other team

Thing is we'd have to either gut our entire roster except for Howard, Harden, Ariza and Capela

    Or

We'd have to convince the Warriors to do a sign and trade with us (yeah right) that would have to be a 5 for 1 type of deal (if you don't include Ariza). Just don't see how we could realistically get him.

Wow. I might be old school, but when somebody beats my team. I want to improve, and come back stronger next year and get revenge. I dont want to join forces with him. Plus he gave Houston the finger when he said "If we ain't that good then they in trouble because we just beat them 4 times". That being said the chances of Dray being a Warrior on opening night are like 100 percent in my opinion. Even he sign a one year deal somewhere else, the Warriors will match. Even if Joe Lacob has to give Draymond Green a foot massage after every game he will match.

Make GS pay Green more than they pay Curry. Then we'll watch the whole team crumble because of chemistry problems.

The Warriors really spit in Curry's face with the contract he has. smh. Klay gets the max? smh

"Curry agreed to a four-year, $44 million extension in October 2012. Even though it was well below the maximum extension of five-years, $80 million that Curry was eligible for, the contract was considered a risk."

He'll get paid next year i think.

I still can't believe someone paid Chuck Hayes $5 million+/year
