A Yahoo sports poll about the WORST PICK in the draft with 46,000 participating picked our own Yao Ming as the winner. Approximately 13,000 fans or 28% of those participating in the poll voted Ming as the worst pick. No one else was even close. Apparently very few sports fans have confidence in the Rocket's decision. I was surprised. I wholeheartedly support the selection of Ming, but, apparently, few fans around the country feel the same way.
Not suprising at all.If I wasn't a Rockets fan I would'nt have taken the time to learn anything about him and would probably feel the same way.
As a lot of posters in this forum have pointed out, most of the professional scouts, coaches and players who have actually played with or against ming have nothing but good things said about him. I would trusted Rick Barry more than a John Doe net-surf who voted on Yahoo.
how can anybody say Ming is a bust if they havn't seen him play. that also go's for some people on this bbs
