Kind of a weird twist... I was disappointed that it wasn't getting the finish it deserved. Now, they're back in full force. I guess I'll actually watch an ABC comedy for the first time since...well...probably ever. Of course, they still have to get the full cast back before this is worth anything. No Braff = no show.
Apparently NBC had been giving Scrubs hell for the past few years so good to see a change anyways. Hopefully more funny and less seriousness
put it on friday nights so we can get some TGIF. Man, loved TGIF when i was a little kid. Just the 10 of us? yeah, that show was good. Full House, and Perfect Strangers. That's right Mr Belvedere.
family matters and step by step weren't too shabby.... though i watch any of those old tgif shows now and they just plain suck.
I'll raise you a boy meets world and Two of a kind. Terrible stuff. why couldnt abc have picked up Arrested Development? Why? Why? Why?
Scrubs is pretty awesome. I admit I was one who didn't give it a chance. Some friends of mine liked it but I just kind of ignored it. Happened to catch some episodes the last month in reruns/syndication and I wish I had been watching sooner. Might just have to buy the DVD sets.
I thought about it, and realized that I've never cared for any comedy on ABC or CBS in my life. NBC and FOX were the channels to turn to for something funny.
so there's no more episodes this season and then 18 next year? or is nbc still going to air the ones in the can and then we get 18 new ones on ABC? hopefully they get the whole cast. considering it's almost always been on the verge of being cancelled, i guess it's pretty good to get 8 seasons out of the series. although the last couple haven't been nearly as strong as the first 5 or so seasons. lets hope they pick back up. and i can't really think of any comedies i've watched on ABC in a long time either. seems like you have to go back to the home improvement, roseanne, coach days. and i didn't even really watch roseanne. although it does mess up the great nbc comedy lineup on thursday. hopefully they don't break up the other 3 with scrubs gone.
Forgot about that one. Ok...Scrubs will be the 2nd comedy I will have ever watched on ABC. Murphy Brown and M*A*S*H were are probably the only CBS comedies I've ever watched.
I discovered this show while staying in Denver. I was stuck in my brothers home because of snow and we watched the complete first season. Nice move, I hope its good for the show.
I think consistency is the greatest ratings builder. Scrubs has never been consistent in its schedule, time slot, etc. Its hard to build regular audiences when you start your season 2 months after every other show, and are on different nights every year.
