    Is it working for you? My internet is fine - but yahoo.com and all of its sub-domains aren't working for me...I want to check in on my fantasy basketball teams.

    Anybody else having this problem? If not - any solution?

    Haha...well, I'm pretty tech-savvy for the most part. Just don't understand what's going on. Every other site I visit seems to work - just nothing Yahoo-related...on any of my browsers.

    Open up a command prompt and type:

    ping www.yahoo.com

    See if you get a response.

    Nothing working...oh well, I suppose I can get through 1 day without Yahoo. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing.

    Looks like Yahoo! banned you, 3814. :eek:
    R.I.P. your email with them. :(

    ;)

    It must be something your I.T. peeps did to block all Yahoo! addresses or the entire DNS block for them. Get to it from an anonymous surfer proxy website. See the other thread for that.

    Okay, this is stupid. The proxy actually works - but the thing is, I'M AT HOME. There's no way I "blocked" Yahoo, is there? Perhaps my internet service provider did...but that's a terrible mistake on their part if they did.

    I love it when people don't listen to me.

    Many ISPs have DNS servers that don't like to refresh, or refresh very stupidly.

    OpenDNS = win.

    Maybe you just need to turn your monitor on?

    Reset your router or modem. This happened to me w/ Google once, and that did the trick.

    See if you can connect to it via telnet.

    Start--cmd--->telnet www.yahoo.com 80

    If that doesn't work, get drunk.
