Lots of teams calling on Houston's Shane Battier and Courtney Lee, execs say. Lee's been a favorite of Thibodeau to fill CHI 2-guard role.

calling and offering something of value is two different things.

    Same old, same old.

I hope we hold on to Lee, and part ways with Battier.

I don't see what we can get out of Chicago, other than future picks.

Keep Battier as defensive specialist and try to get a center or Wallace for Lee is what I would do. Then free WILLY and we're good!

$20 says that Morey is asking for AT LEAST Omer Asik AND the 2012 CHA first rounder in exchange for Lee. And that's just IF he's willing to part with Lee for that package. My guess is that Chicago doesn't offer both of those assets and that Lee is not a Bull on Thursday. That is, unless there is a three-team deal out there that Morey likes.

As long as the Bulls arent willing to give anything up, nothing to see there. Nothing to see here in general. As Yoyo said, calling and offering something of value is two different things.

I would try and get the most for Lee ie.(a Big) right now, then bring in T-Will at his spot.

I think it makes more sense the other way around.

Some people on this board are enamoured with Lee because of his recent games but I think those numbers are going to be a few times every season for his career. I'd want more than just Asik though... Not so sure I want him dealt to the Bulls for the media doody they pulled.

Lee has too high of a ceiling for us to trade him for a draft pick (a gamble pretty much) or Asik, a player who's still pretty much still unproven in this league.

Agree, Morey is going to ask for the moon when it comes to Lee. He has coveted Lee for many years and will probably be hard pressed to move him.

48 hours left. Reggie Hammond says, "Get 'er done, Morey."

This...plus Chicago's picks = yuck. They(the picks) would be even worse with Lee tearing it up for them.

No, it's not. I don't want a late first rounder.
