    Kidd giving gold medal to casino owner's wife

    Jason Kidd is a lover not a scorer. Elaine Wynn, who is married to casino owner Steve Wynn, was promised by Kidd that he would give her his Olympic hardware if the US won gold. Apparently, he's a man of his word. From the Las Vegas Review: "'Last summer, we stayed at the Wynn for (what seemed like) a lifetime, close to three weeks,' Kidd said. 'We met at a banquet, we got to talking, and she really understands the game. I told her I'd make a deal with her, that if we won the gold medal, I'd give it to her. She thought I was kidding. But I told her I had one already, and the way they treated us at the Wynn, it was the least I could do.'" And here I was thinking Misty and Jason were going to melt their gold medals into some nice accent jewelry. Oh well.

    I don't know what is worse...the fact that she would accept the gold medal or the fact that he would give it to someone who didn't participate nor is deserving of it.

    Sure, it's a great gesture...but not appropriate IMO.

    of all the people you could give a gold medal to, a wounded soilder, a terminally ill kid, a teacher who improves lives, you give it to a casino owner :confused:

    Actually winning the medal is what's important. I'm sure the physical medal means more to this woman than it does to him, especially since he already has one.

    I guess this means if JKidd is down $400,000 like Charles, the Wynn might give him a little extra time to pay it off.

    Also, free buffets for a lifetime.. That might be worth it.

    There's gotta be more to this story.. Also did anyone catch the commentators at the Beach Volleyball gold medal game that the Roman numeral V tatooed on Misty May's back is for Jason Kidd? What is the deal with Jason Kidd and married women?

    He dumped pregnant girlfriend Hope Dworaczyk who he was dating while he was in New Jersey. And started dating May Anderson when he was traded to Dallas.


    How do you dump your girl that is STILL PREGNANT with your Kidd. Him and Tom Brady are class acts. Maybe I'm just an old fashioned guy, but I say you see it through.
