Hey Guys! I just set up a Yahoo free fantasy basketball league. Just sign up under Yahoo - sports - fantasy -

    League ID # 160155

League Name - Clutch City 2006

    Password - Rockets

I set it for auto-draft (you select the players in the order you would draft them) and the draft will automatically take place at a certain time. I will try to have the auto-draft before the end of the month or as soon as we have 12 teams.

Please only sign up if you plan to play the entire season. Feel free to email me if you have questions atsmith5150(at)yahoo.com (substitute @ for (at)).

Cool, don't forget to select your players in the order you want. As soon as we fill up I'll select the option to start the draft.

Sweet! It's actually an auto draft where you select the players in the order that you would draft them ahead of time, so we don't all have to be in front of a computer at the same time.

Let me know if you need directions on how to do this - atsmith5150 (at) yahoo.com I can email you directions.

Yes, I will set the auto-draft for Monday so edit your pre-draft player rankings prior to Monday or you'll be stuck with the Yahoo default selections.

Stratford HS '89?? Shoot me an email if that's you. atsmith5150 (at) yahoo.com I tried emailing you through the board, but it said your email was private.

Glad you signed up. Here's the way to select your players -

    1) Go to your team
    2) Select Edit Pre-Draft Player Rankings
    3) Click on Edit My Rankings
    4) Move players from the middle (default rankings) to the right column in the order you want to draft them (e.g. If you want to draft Shaq first then move him to the right column) you can also move players up and down within the right column once you move them over.
    5) Be sure to Save Player Rankings once you've made your changes.
    6) You can always go back and edit your rankings until the draft is conducted (later this month - so if Kobe breaks his leg in the pre-season you can go back and move him down or choose not to draft him at all by moving him to the column on the left. You can pick up to 156 players in the order you want. The auto-draft will pick the highest available player you have (with possible of exceptions for instance - you already have selected a center (even if you have a center as your next pick it will default to your next non-picked position. Hope this makes sense.

If you want, you can select as many or as few of the players you want up to 156 - the rest will be automatically chosen from the default settings - (e.g. if you don't want to rank all 156 possibilities just choose as many as you like (e.g. top 10, 20, 50 or more and let the computer choose the rest for you.

Let me know if you have any other questions or it this doesn't make sense.

I'll select the option for the auto-draft to ready in the morning, so be sure to select tonight or anytime before it runs - last year it took several hours after I set it run. I'll also send this email but several players do not have their email option active so I hope they get this before the draft completes. My brother won our league off the defaut draft so it's not bad, trades and picking up FA's is alot of it, plus making sure your players are playing each day and not on the bench.

FYI - you can set your players in advance (I usually set it up each Monday for the whole week.
