Old News. We beat the dreaded Timberwolves. Everyone in the league fears them, and nobody wants to lose to them. We didn't because we rock. End of story.
Another writer who doesn't know anything about the Rockets and sees an 0-5 record and assume that we suck. Little does he know that we had a chance of winning every single game that we lost and teams that we played have outstanding records (Lakers 7-0, Horents 7-0, Spurs 5-1, Warriors 5-2).
Oh, btw, remember that T-wolves team we beat? They are only down by 4 against LA at half time. True, the Lakers will beat them, but we were already up by 20 something at half time against them last time...
Everyone tries to play their best against the defending champs. The Wolves were not even trying after the first quarter.
I don't understand this reasoning. These winning teams are legit NBA teams. Rockets are competing with them for the big thing. If Rockets want to be good, they have to beat them, not every time, but not 0:5. What's the goal of the Rockets? Being mediocre again?
