Bucks activate Kukoc, Santiago, waive Gill, House

    January 5, 2005
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks activated forward Toni Kukoc and center Daniel Santiago before Wednesday night's game against the New Jersey Nets.

Kukoc, a veteran who has spent two productive seasons with the team, had missed 23 games this season with a strained right hip. He played in four games before going on the injured list.

Santiago came off the injured list after missing 17 games with a right eye corneal abrasion he suffered in practice Nov. 19.

Also Wednesday, the Bucks waived guards Kendall Gill and Eddie House.

Gill averaged 6.1 points in 14 games since signing as a free agent with the Bucks on Dec. 6. House averaged 3.2 points in five games since signing as a free agent Dec. 18.

to me, Kendall Gill is a Jim Jackson clone. So for those of you sad to seem him go, give Kendall a call.

No. Gill's done. House has hung onto a career despite never being able to shoot even 40% from the field.

If he had played for the Knicks we'd have signed him already. but being on the wrong side of 30 there's still a chance...

I think there's a reason so many interested teams (Houston, Miami) ultimately passed on House when he was waived by Charlotte (another red flag). Now that he's been waived by the Bucks, there's no doubt in my mind that this guy isn't someone that could help us.

I reckon that we could use an Eddie House right now.

I thought House would be something too when he played a good stretch for the Spurs. And then he gets waived by an EXPANSION team. that's not a red flag; that the effin surgeon general's warning.

Guaranteed contract day...then the guy(s) can be resigned. Look at all the cuts around The Association.

With the additions of Barry and Wesley, I dont see Gill or House making a difference in Houston.
