I tend to think that Steve is just a bit bitter about the hole thing, as is Tracy, it will calm down over time.

I think both Orlando and Houston got better with the trade.

why do these people hate francis so much,I hope he shakes snotbar so hard that he breaks his ankles and goes off for 40.I still would want the rockets to with though.I said nachbar because to you people he could do no wrong,and alot of people on this site bashed francis everytime he missed a shot.

i dislike francis because he has always been unprofessional his whole career - i'm sure i don't need to go into specifics.

one thing that personally irritates me to the max, whether pro athlete or just someone i'm playing with - is someone who runs his mouth - that's just me. which probably explains why i especially dislike him.

 

Steve is not going to say it publically, but you know that he hates JVG's guts for trading him after promising him it's not going to happen.

 

He is right. He would have suited up and insisted on playing regardless of what coach says. That is why he is no longer here.

You Francis haters are just crazy. I don't see anything wrong with his quote.

 

Weird how Francis is turning this into a feud between him and McGrady when his beef should be with Rockets management...as far as I can tell.

 

I am acutely glad that Steve Francis is gone.

My advice to him is to keep his trap shut as much as possible. It seems like everytime he opens his mouth to give an original opinion something bad happens. What exactly was the point of that quote? It is possible that the reporter might have quoted him out of context but history says Francis is very capable of saying such dumb stuff. This also goes to Mobley.

Exactly...nobody's answered yet of what's wrong with the quote. They're just looking for reasons to jump all over Steve. Notice when McGrady says something cocky they say "I like his confidence and heart" and when Francis just says he'd play in a game it's "he never knows when to keep his mouth shut".

It's that hometown thing. I remember when T-Mac dropped his "it feels good to be out of the first round" quote a few years back (and he went on to lose the series) that "Eat Crow McGrady" thread popped up where everyone was saying he needs to learn when to shut up, and now that he's here they love his cocky quotes. It's all about the hometown immunity.

Steve, for no apparent reason, implicitly insults TMac in his quote. This after TMac has never ever made any insulting remarks about steve. So the reason we areall pissed at steve is that he is taking jabs at our player for no apparent reason.

 

Who cares what this guy says. He is no longer on the team so I dont know why people even care what he says. He will never be succesful and will always turn the ball over like 10 times a game.
