I want to see Mac playing somewhere. But, it looks like it's a waiting a game. Maybe his contract expiring is the option that is most likely? Most of the names mentioned are nothing special. And it's understandable that Chi wouldn't want to part with Noah.

What's wrong with Jordan Hill? Two inches too short?

He makes loose change compared to McGrady. We'd have to take awful contracts to get him, making him less worth it.

I still say Dalembert's the best choice since he'd come with Iguodala!

    That's interesting.

If that's the focus, maybe the Rockets aren't as high on Scola-Landry-Hayes as I thought.

Also shows the confidence in Morey being able to land Bosh before the deadline. :(

Damn I hope the Lakers don't get lucky a second time around.

I think he sees the opp to get a talented big to stash and develop while Scola gets older and Landry makes his way to getting big pay day cash in Free Agency.

im sure dm is aiming at dalembert+iggy+speights for tmac. they might say yes to just iggy+dalembert but speights added in would be a really sweet deal :p

Ditto. I am tea-leaf reading that Scola is February fodder. Alas, I'd hate for him to go.

He's the guy I would peg to be leaving also. Or at least the one the Rockets are most willing to trade.

Interesting... A young athletic big man?

    Who could that be?

The more and more I heard things, I kept pointing out that Morey has his eyes set on acquiring a PF.(Stoudemire, Bosh, Randolph, Hill depending on which story you read, Noah, anyone else I missed?)

Sorta interesting that the ones we have now dont seem destined to be here in the long term as durvasa and xiki sorta pointed out.

Now that Tmac is gone, Yao is the man in Houston. So I guess getting him help inside is priority #1. And like most of you have said, it doesn't seem that the org. thinks Scola or Landry is that guy.

Hmm I thought the Rockets were more focused on finding a wingman more than a big.

I hate to base to much off of one comment but when Morey was asked on the radio what he thought about Scola's future here his reply was basically "just enjoy the ride while it lasts" like they don't have plans for him after this season.

He's the guy I see most likely gone in a trade scenario if the Rockets have anything to say about it although I suspect most teams would prefer Carl or Aaron.

If Landry isn't that young athletic big man... Perhaps another team wants Carl for a 1/2 guard?

Chris Bosh, Marco Belinelli and Amir Johnson + Rocket option of swapping draft positions in one of the 2010, 2011 or 2012 drafts for T-Mc and Carl Landry. If Morey made that trade, we would be in great shape.

    Yao / Andersen / Johnson
    Bosh / Scola / Hayes
    Budinger / Ariza
    Belinelli / Draft Choice
    Brooks / Lowry

In all honesty, I can see Philly trading us Thaddeus Young.

Wish we could get Jeff Green from the Thunder.
