Looks like a move the kings are making to trade us Hawes and Martin.

    LOL.

On a slightly different note, I take this as an indicator that New Orleans is not folding up and is going to try to keep CP3 and their core and remain competitive. So much for trading McGrady and assets for CP3 and Okafor. If they were going to move Okafor, I would have thought they would have wanted to keep Armstrong. Now that they are only $500k over the lux cap, they appear to me to be looking towards getting under the lux cap and keeping the core of the team together. Of course, if they could unload Peja and trash for an expiring, I think they would do it. This is a signal that we can wave bye bye to the CP3 hopes and dreams.

This is also a signal that CP3 can wave bye bye to making it deep into the playoffs again. They have Zero bench. literally they have D-leaguers on their bench.

I actually liked Armstrong as a minor trade option for the Rox. He has underachieved but would have been a nice interior big that RA could have used in certain situations.

Meh, it's not like he would make a difference on their bench during the playoffs. The guy is a scrub, after all.

    Please...

The Kings agreed to this trade simply for the cash profit.

According the salaries from ShamSports the Hornets only need to shed a further $441,535 to get under LT.

The Hornets need only to move one of these players. No need to trade West or Paul.
