Jamison? Seriously? I would demand McGee and Washington's first rounder at minimum in exchange for taking him back.
I don't understand this all these rumors point to us attempting to get 4's which is arguably our strongest position. Either there's some other deal in place or these rumors are very inaccurate.
Many times, in years past, when the media finds out one team called another, they just throw in the names of the players themselves based off of who has notably been made "available." I really don't see why Houston would have any interest in Jamison. If their primary concern with Scola is his age, well, Jamison has 4 years on him. Tyrus Thomas, while garbage, is much younger. 23, I think? Especially if the rumors are true of Daryl Morey reportedly "only" wanting young players in return.
Maybe we're looking for a better fit (offensively) at the smaller starting line-up than Chuck Hayes? Because we are really offensively deficient if we start Chuck Hayes and Shane Battier.
We've come to the conclusion many times that Morey feels we need 4s with size & athleticism to compete with the Lakers, Celtics, & Magics of the league. That being said I don't believe Morey would go after Jamison's long long contract unless A.) We're planning a 2nd trade to backdoor this trade or B.) We're getting a young prospect or draft pick (unprotected) Either way I'll believe this rumor when I see it. But imo I don't see this happening at all.
It has been stated or it has been reported(sorry, no links offhand) that Morey wants a young athletic forward to play next to Yao, who could potentially also fill in or play for Yao if he goes out. Basically a guy who could play the 4 and 5. Pretty sure Clutch has mentioned this a few times.
Uhh idk about this one, but I do rather add jamison 2 the team since were not Even using tmac. And if were gonna give scola away,we better get a 1st round draft pick
I've always been thinking about letting T-Mac back to toyota centre and play on the court again for rockets.
Rudy Fernandez. (I know that Kevin Pritchard has been unwilling to deal him, but perhaps for a player the caliber of Scola, he'd change his mind.)
I would rather have a lotto pick and take back a bad contract. These players will guarantee the Rockets are too good for a lottery pick, but bad enough to be 1st round playoff fodder for next season.
