The New Jersey Nets are paying Rafer Alston to leave the team, hence Alston has achieved a new level of uselessness.

Maybe u didn't watch the playoffs last year???

Rafer was a huge part of the magic playoff success

he can still help a team..he's a good point guard

as I recall he was mad about being benched in favor of Jameer Nelson in the finals.

Please pick Cleveland, Rafer. Nobody wants to see Rafer in Heat.

I think he'll end up with Miami. Better chance of significant playing time and Wade supposedly wants him there.

I think he would be a good fit in LA. Not that I'm a Lakers fan but seeing Old Man Fisher getting punked on every game is sad.

I can see why the Heat would want him. Chalmers hasn't really been as productive as last year, which leaves them to choose between him and Arroyo, so if Rafer actually ended up going there, he'd most likely getting the starting gig rather than Cleveland where Williams is already positioned.

man,.....what a nightmare having him and Ariza on this team would be lol.

He would be great for the Lebrons

Their main problem is that they don't seem to have a true point guard who is committed to getting everybody into their sets.

I know he can't hit the broadside of a barn, but Rafer is a true point guard....and I always thought Cle was one of the few teams that could actually use him.

    lol that was funny.

But the Nets ineffectiveness was not limited to Rafer.

The smartest thing the Nets have done this year.
