I had no idea that guy had been in the league for 9 seasons. I feel old.

And he's overpaid...but not absurdly so for a talented C.

It's not bad for a guy that gets you 10/10 every night. On the other hand, this will probably be Haywood's last contract so you know there's a definite possibility that he's going to be buying a lot of envelopes.

    Dallas where 8 & 7 = $55 million.

They couldn't learn from all that cash they gave Dampier?

Plus all that money they gave Diop?

Cuban just loves big black men. All there is to it.

The money is fine, the length is a bit much. Hopefully the last two years aren't fully guaranteed.q

Wow, that's just uncalled for, you forgot all about Dirk, plus he drafted Wang Zhi Zhi too. He loves big men, period.

Seriously, a soon-to-be-31-year-old center and they're giving him a 6 year contract at $9mil/per? They're going to be throwing around the word "albatross" in about 3 years.

I swear, when Yao is 40 and we get rid of him, Cuban will probably give him an MLE-level contract.

He's better than Dampier for less of a price. He is old though

Did Cuban also sign Dampier to that ridiculous contract(that just expired)? Crazy.

he was good for my fantasy team last year, but i picked him up weeks after the draft as an usigned player. He gave me around 10 points, 10 boards, and 1-2 blocks with a high fg%. You cant find cheap bigs in the nba though.
