I remember living there when I was a kid and they had the most amazing display of Xmas lights....in fact, as recently as last year, the local news in NY showed a clip of them.

Does anyone know when they turn the lights on for the season? I want to take my kids to see them.

If they're like Wal-Mart, they've been on since September.

by the way, a product out on the market fixes your christmas lights with one click. All of them. Looks like a winning product. QVC has it. I'm sure everyone else does too.

Wow, talk about memories. When I was growing up in NW Houston, we would go out to that subdivision every year!!!!

    Good times!

Yeah Prestonwood is nuts during Xmas season. There is always bumper to bumper traffic there looking at the lights.

I'd hate to live there during the holidays.

    NJ,

I imagine they are all already up.

I think most people have them up already, but they don't "officially" open the subdivision for people to see them all until the week before Christmas.

If you go through there in the next few weeks, you'll see it about 80% lit up on any given night, but for the final week before Christmas when they are "officially" lit up, you'll see about 98% participation from the homeowners.

No, its on the exact opposite side of town.

It is off of 249 near the Hewlett Packard offices.

    Near 249 and Cypresswood.
