you have to buy the stupid commando 3 game, then you can download the beta.

    KepoW,
don't be cheapo. get it. you can see people's pings (about freaking time)
and you can do widescreen hd. the characters are huge and the game is pretty responsive (i'm only playing decent pingers). Also you can have SIX people per room. its pretty awesome. (two people play, while everyone else watches and chats etc)

    yeah that's why its beta.

you notice all the little tweaks and new moves?

    fake fireball with ryu
juggle uppercuts with ken (medium punch)

i found it way harder to do a wakeup uppercut

    the speed is really fast

That Commando game is horrible and the beta only has Ken and Ryu. I'll pass :)

Yeah, i think the full version comes out in a few months anyways. Best wait then.

I'm still counting the days when sf4 comes...

How is the rebalanced system working? I haven't played SF2 in years so I probably wouldn't even notice it. Wish PSN had the beta, I am more excited about this game than I am SF4.

well, the easy one to figure out without playing is akuma. i'm sure they tone down his abilities.

it seems the wakeup dragon punches are not as instantaneous as before.
but then again, the beta has ken's dragon punch combos to be extremely powerful (you can juggle with them).

I'd LOVE to play it, but I simply can not use the 360's controller for a 2D fighter and I don't use arcade sticks. I can't pull off moves at will with the 360's directional pad. I'll unfortunately have to wait for the PS3 version. I'm alright waiting though. Heck, I've waiting this long. This game should have been out a while back.

I love the setup though with rooms, spectators, and rotating who is fighting in the room. Sounds like a great system so far.

well the big problem is the freezing of the game. that's not an xbox360 problem, its buggy code. capcom said it won't patch it up for the beta.

oh you have to buy commando 3 for 800 points

i've only played player match mode
which if you've played hyperfighting on xbl, its basically a custom room

here you get 6 people instead of 4

the problem before is that you have people with bad pings, here you can see their pings, plus six people talking smack and commenting on your street fighting skills is always fun

    the graphics, excellent!

the redrawn graphics look great. you have to go into the options to get into full widescreen. it defaults into 4:3 (which sucks). full wide screen, your characters are huge

responsiveness/lag, have not had any issues when playing someone with a decent ping (as in any net game). the controls are very responsive, much better than hyperfighting.

options, you can choose classic (sf2t) or remixed , remixed is supposedly more balanced. you get new moves like ryu's fake fireball (another way to sucker someone into jumping into you). ken's dragon punch juggles.

Why would anyone buy a crappy game for a DEMO?

Agreed. I tried playing Capcom vs SNK 2 on Xbox and I could not use the Xbox dpad at all. I got a Xbox to PS2 controller adapter, and ended up being in the top 150 or so players in the world in that game. I'll be waiting for the PS3 version of this though.

Yeah, I thought of getting the controller adapter, but I remember seeing a video of tournament player that usually used one and it just didn't work for him when he connected it up at one of Capcom's official tourneys. I decided to just get on PS3 after I saw that.

you can buy the hori stick (i have one)
or you can just figure out the xbox360 controller (better than the old xbox controller).

i set the fierce as the top right pad, and the round house as the right trigger.
    it actually works well.

i still don't like the hori stick and would prefer to use my capcom anniversary stick (ps2/xbox) but that doesn't work on xbox live.

i'm sure with the launch of this game plus sf4, we'll be seeing some decent arcade sticks pop up.
