I made my final decision. I'm buying XBOX360. There are many reasons,but the main is that games for PS3 are too expensive. I get copies for 8$ for XBOX and BLURAY blank cd is 35-40$. XBox has more games,and XBOX live. Any tips? Good games?
Get the Orange Box. It's halflife 2, half life 2: Episode 1 or 2...a mini game in Portal and Team Fortress 2. all for the price of one game. Great value

Burning the games? the OP stated he wants to use xbox live. I don't think you can if you have burned games. Maybe I'm wrong...cause if I can get on XBL with a modded 360, dude...sign me up! But yeah, Orange box is pretty badass. They have a promo for xbox360 elite's with hdmi. came with marvel ultimate alliance and forza 2. Sweet deal. Pick that up, orange box, halo3 and nba2k8. you'll be set for a good while.
Co-signed. I haven't even touched Halo 3 since i played COD4. It's very addicting. Yes, you can get on XBL with a correctly modded 360.
Same here. On Halo, you have guests play on Xbox Live. How come on Call of Duty online, it's only one player? Or am I doing something wrong...
i'm not really into the copying stuff, but u can buy street fighter 2 turbo on xbox live for $10 and play against tons of people online. I think if you are a street fighter guy and likes to talk trash (4 player online sessions, 2 spectators) its fun. those are the real cheapskates, the ones that say they are good at one game, and are too cheap to buy it.
Yea and the new one is no exception. The controls are horrible and the camera does what it wants. Such a shame really, why can't they just release the old arcade Simpsons game on XBL.
If you're modded, then you won't be playing XBox Live for long, because they are very good at detecting that and banning 360s forever from live. Choose one or the other. I think Live has enough value that you go legit. I know several people that were all about the modded consoles until 360 Live came along. Now they're all legit. And if you decide to go the modded route, it won't be long until someone hacks the PS3, so you will be able to get games for it too. And if you're modded, you obviously don't care about the law, so why aren't you just downloading and burning the games for free?
cant believe none of the tom clancy games have been mentioned. those are freaking amazing, especially rainbow six vegas oh and about the modding. i know very well that there is firmware out there that is undetectable on xbl. its called iextreme
