i downloaded the new xbox live/marketplace interface update 2 weeks ago but i havent really done much with it since i havent had time to play my xbox lately. but i went to a best buy yesterday to purchase some xbox live points so i could download the new no doubt album on rockband and there wasnt a single card of any denomination at the best buy. (this is one of the bigger stores in LA as well) i went later after work to another best buy a bit closer to my place and same thing...no xbox live point cards whatsoever. Did MS going away from buying the prepaid cards and can you purchase points online now with the new interface? or are the cards still around and somehow I got super unlucky that both the best buys i went to were sold out? i am not home to see the interface myself I let my friend borrow my xbox over the weekend i just got it back last night and I wanted to know if I should try stopping by circuit city on the way home to get a card or go straight home and buy through the market place? sorry i dont really stay atop of the video game world thanks in advance
They look pretty abundant here in Houston... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcat17006&type=page&_requestid=74034
go to Target, they always have stacks of them, or you can go to GameStop/EB Games, unless your just trying to rack up Best Buy Rewards Points, really no point to get it anywhere in particular, since they are $20 everywhere, I usually stock up and buy 2/3 of them when they have them on sale at Target or Circuit City for $15 if they are not on sale, I usually just buy the points straight from the dashboard, since its the same price, they just sell them in even bundled points like 500 for $6.25, since all of the points are going to be used anyway.
