You need a mic for sure and a wireless router for your xbox if you're not close to your modem. What does GB mean?

If you want to talk to people, you need a mic (I dont use a mic in 1 v 1 games which it looks like you are interested in)

A wireless router or an ethernet cord

What is GB? are you referring to hard drive memory?

    Xbox Live> Psn Network

But you are paying for xbox live, and there will be plenty of annoying kids on their mics...

    .. and I mean plenty.

Depends on what you plan on doing with your xbox

Do you think you will be downloading demos, add-ons to games, or movies? If so, go with the 120GB, if you are just using it for casual online gaming, go for the smaller one
the xbox will come with an ethernet cord, just plug it in from your modem to the back of the xbox

xbox is $60 a year while the PS3 is free. That being said, I have both systems and use xboxlive nearly every day while I have not used my PS3 online in months. You are paying for the much better product in every way (more user friendly, more reliable, larger community, more social, etc.)

Fwiw, they usually have the XBox Live 12 month prepaid cards for sale, your a day late on the EBay Daily Deals they had, I just got one for $35, which is a steal compared to their regular $60/month

I think Walmart has them on their website for $40-45 at the moment

if your getting the older model with no hard drive, I'd suggest picking the 60GB pack up they have on sale for $50 at 1saleaday.com

120 GB HDD is what I have and what you should get. 60GB drive will be full in no time.

the xbox comes with all the accesories you need. mic and it has wifi. gb doesnt really matter i believe they all come with over 100GB. Unless you plan to save your games and plan to have more than 10 games saved, it doesnt matter what gb you get.

As people have already said above, PSN is free while Live costs. I've never had issues with playing online on my PS3.

I personally use my 360 fractionally as much as I use my PS3 overall. And the PS3 is without doubt a better multimedia machine than the 360 is, and I personally think the user interface is MUCH more user-friendly, and puts MANY fewer ads in your face.

They have the specials all the time as well. I got a year for 40 bucks. Twice they have promoted a family deal for 4 people to have live for a year for 100 bucks.
Whoever said 60 bucks pshhhhhhhh.:cool::p

Xbox 360 4GB - the slim model. Is that enough to play one or two games?

should be, I don't think the 2k series has downloadable content, but I'm not sure about the other game

If you only plan on casually playing 2 games online, there's no reason to spend extra money on a big hard drive

    Bumping an old xbox thread:

How can I use an internet browser on my xbox 360?

Checking online, I found that you can do it using Windows XP/Vista, Windows Media Center & the MCE Browser.
I have Windows 7, but couldn't find a way to get the browser to work.

    Anyone have this working? Thanks
