Turns out there is an issue between Time Warner and MS, not sure if it is a dispute or technical issue. But Live died last night around 7pm and it is still down. Time Warner says they are not blocking anything and MS says they are aware of the issue (would not tell me what it was) and are working on it as we speak. As for the rest of the comments from the peanut gallery, you guys need to get a job where you get to play XBox at work.... BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ! DD
Somebody get Dada Xbox live connectivity stat!!!! This is serious. Where is Al Gore when you need him?
At school they are building a game room as a reward for our students. I have already been lobbying for a teacher time in it. I am going to waste some people on Mario Kart and Lego RB. Not sure what other games they are going to have but they are going to have all three consoles.
Same issue....although Time Warner won't admit it, I am almost certain they started blocking port 3074 or 88..... Probably to stop the traffic of netflix online, which competes directly with their movie service. DD
For the past 24 hours or so, there seem to have been some network outages at hubs around the country. Depending on how your traffic is routed, various websites were not working. As an example, my domain registrar's main site was accessible, but the secure login site was not. Same with a whole variety of other fairly random sites. The outage seems to have been repaired in the last few hours. If you look here, it still shows some routers down, but I guess traffic is now flowing around them: http://www.internettrafficreport.com/namerica.htm
