WallySzczerbs: i dont know whats going on WallySzczerbs: now MS wants receipts and crap WallySzczerbs: then they look on their computers and see a registered xbox 360 to walter hopp. which is MINE WallySzczerbs: my brotheres was never officially registered online WallySzczerbs: so there confused. You should have called 1-800-4MYXBOX first. Mine just broke. It's still under the MS Warranty. I also have a Best Buy 2 year extended product replacement plan but opted to go with MS first. The customer service person I talked too sucked balls. She must have been new or something because it was so obvious she was reading from a script and didn't actually know what she was talking about. She sounded like Shawnee Smith (chick from Becker and the Saw movies) and at the end of every statement, her voice went up as if she were asking a question. Anyway, MS sends you a box to ship your XBOX in (so you don't have to pay shipping). It beats paying to ship it to a 3rd party who's going to ship it to MS anyway. Sucks about your friend, but work done by non-authorized repairers typically void warranties.
