XBOX 360 Live Wireless Network Adapter (need help)

So i finally got hooked up to live and bought the wireless adapter for the 360...now im having problems connecting to the ip address. its picking up the network adapter and connecting to the network but failing on the ip address.

i tried repowering the modem, router and xbox and still not working...i checked the password and its accurate...

i have a belkin54g router, which its picking up...sbcyahoo dsl provider as well.

How do i get it to work?

i got it to work before the wireless adapter was installed by hookin up the modem directly to the xbox. now i can't get it to work
