I've tried the x-clamp trick and it still doesn't work. Maybe someone with more knowledge could fix it. It's a Zephry? model with a Samsung MS28 already flashed with xitreme 1.4. It's sold AS IS and does have the RROD issues. I'm getting a Jasper model so I'm not fooling with this one anymore.

I found out that there is no permanent fix for the RROD. Even if you did fix it, it could end up dying again in a month or a year. Best bet is to send it to Microsoft or buy a new one. What is a "Jasper model"? Is that RROD-proof?

"Jasper" is the die shrink from 90nm to 65nm on both the CPU and GPU keeping it cooler and hopefully making it RROD-proof.
