so anyone think theres definately room for x-men 4?? the ending pretty much guarenteed a sequel. 1-failed to mention juggernuts and xavier's relationship 2-magneto still had a bit of power at the end 3-if you stayed for the credits after it ended. it showed a nurse talking talking and saying "Charles". also, if you remeber the video about the part where xavier was showing a dude with no brain functions, guess where his next body is coming from? 4-since magneto was able to get some power back, perhaps the "cure" is temporary, like how beast was cured when he was near the boy, but he goes back as soon as he gets far away.
I think the ending of X3 paved the way for new actors to play the professor, Cyclops, and maybe Magneto. Of course, the next movie could also have older actors play Bobby, Rogue, and Kitty. That's my guess, but I haven't seen the movie yet.
after making $120 mil in 4 days, yea i think there is going to be a 4th... from what I heard, the Magneto and Wolverine spinoff should be next. I just praying they stay pace on their 3 year layoff for each movie. Everybody knows this movie was rushed and it didn't turn out as bad as people thought it would. X3 to me was a great movie, as long as you keep an open mind that some parts of the movie, is not the exact same as the comics. then again, how the hell did Angel fly from NY to SF so damn fast....
1. Charles is alive and well...he transfered his concioussness to the comatose patient. 2. Scott (Cyclops) is alive, beat up, but alive. Phoenix was never able to kill him in the comics so Jean obviously wouldn't be able to kill 'em off here; he is the love of her life after all. 3. Jean is alive, cause she is the Phoenix, and a phoenix, by nature becomes reborn again. Plus they can actually, you know, show HER FREAKING EVOLUTION INTO THE PHOENIX AND NOT SOME ZOMBIE EYED FREAK TAGGING ALONG WITH MAGNETO. 4. The cure is temporary and everybody gets their powers back, most notably Magneto and Rogue. 5. The series shifts to the fallout from the temporary effect of the cure and the government's subsequent response (based on Magneto's terrorist acts) to fully wipeout mutants, thereby introducing Sentinels (perhaps a little Days of Future Past stuff thrown in here). 6. The series also shifts focus to Jean (and away from Wolverine) and her struggle with the Phoenix. So basically, everything that happened in three is reversed.
They are stepbrothers, but I think they may have used the origin of the Juggernaut from the ULTIMATE series where he has no relation to Xavier and is actually a mutant with great strength, thus explaining why Leech could sap his powers, where the primary complaint is that Juggernaut isn't a mutant and Leech shouldn't have been able to dampen his powers. Maybe they go into aspects of the astral plane which is where Charles probably was when he transferred his consciousness from his body to the comatose body. Maybe they introduce psylocke and perhaps mystique is out and white queen will be in.
I say reboot. There is no reason for them to continue on the story and have to pay the actors more money. I'm also pretty sure they don't want to deal with halle berry again trying to call the shots. The branding is more important to people than the actual story and actors (hugh jackman excluded). If they did a fourth movie with a new plot and different actors and $20 million dollars cheaper, I don't think the public would treat it any differently, in fact it might end up better.
The body without consciousness. . IMO should be Moira's son PROTEUS . .. and putting Xavier into it . . . Well that opens the door for ONSLAUGHT to come forth Rocket River
X-men 4 : The Last Stand (Serious this time) The X-men are involved in a seemlessly never ending battle with human and mutantkind until Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks the **** out of all of them. Everybody dies, Vince Vaughn insults some cuban immigrants, Dane Cook makes a cameo as "Titanium Boner" and I sue Brett Ratner to get my 8 bucks back.
I like the idea of skipping like 10 years into the future. That way we can get rid of all the anoying actors and their huge egos, and focus on more interesting characters. I mean, how could they NOT have gambit? Basically the only actors that played the characters that I liked from the movies were Wolverine, Ice man, Kitty, the Prof-X, and maybe Magnetio... tho he's gunna be pretty old. I didn't read the comics all that much, I only have a few from when I was a little kid, but I did watch the animated series a lot. If they could bring in some of those story lines, I think that it could turn out pretty interesting. I think I want to see some sentinals... that aren't in a comp sim.
According to darkhorizons. com there isnt a sequel in the works but they are working on Wolverine and Magneto movies.
I hope so! If there is a 4th, and they don't show more Sentinels, I'm going to be one irate b****. I can guarantee that right f'ing now. Can we say Shadow King? Though, I can see how that story line could be too long/complicated to do properly within the movie.
what this about juggarnaut needing to build momentum inorder to knock shyt down? i thought he was just super strong like the hulk. cant wait till apocalypse shows up and angel can finally be archangel. was gambit the guy that throws exploding cards?
