    X-Files on ice? Coming July 25, 2008!

It's not much but man I needed that. Sooo excited. I'm re-watching season 4 with my girlfriend and this clip just happened to come out this weekend! What are the odds huh?

Not a whole lot of substance, just a lot of quick cuts but I'm glad they're going with a stand alone. Hopefully they throw some humor in for good measure. There's a shot of Leobin from BSG and that Scottish funny-man.

I haven't seen the later seasons yet so I've got plenty to watch leading up to the movie!

Just stop after season 5. Then all you know is the Bull's Jordan and not the Wizard's Jordan.

It looked a bit similiar to a scene from The Thing from Another World, the original to John Carpenter's The Thing.

No, they are sticking to one of those freak of the week type of episodes turned into a movie.

I think this is how the first movie should have gone. Create a movie using one of their more interesting stories that doesn't require seasons and seasons worth of watching to understand. Then attach the production value of a Hollywood movie and an R-rating with some violence and nude scenes.

Most people watched it for Mulder and Scully, not for the aliens. If they keep to that, it should be a good movie.
