I don't know if someone already mentioned this in the game thread, but I'm watching the TNT post game and Ernie asks, "Best team in Texas" and they say Spurs and Mavericks!?!?!? WTF did they just watch?

The question was meant as best team in Texas by end of season.

    better 2nd units.

the rockets still need a second playmaker, go-to-guy and a backup C.

People will asterisk us for this win because we beat San Antonio without them playing their starters.

    Pop with the win-win situation.

We beat them down, like we did tonight, media will disrespect us saying that any team could beat a Spurs team without their big/old three.

They beat us, or it's a close game? Media says we're fools gold and we suck.

He's trying to play them mind games and attempting to manipulate the media into using us for headlines to distract us. *** U POP.

The Spurs had 2 starters out against Dallas and still beat them.

Talk is cheap, play on the court matters. I could understand them saying the Spurs, but this Dallas team hasn't proven anything and frankly I don't think they have the personnel to be an elite team.

Dirk is the only star in that team. Monta and Parsons are "super role players"

Nobody likes us, as a team or as players. The quicker you guys accept that, and take the zen approach you will be a lot happier I promise.

The Rockets are hated, own it guys. Perception means nothing.

Ag who cares, those guys are more comedians than analysts. You don't really want Barkley picking your team, he is usually wrong.

    Accept it.

I promise you if this team wins it all the media will say it is because the Thunder were not healthy early and the Cavs needed a season to mesh and whatever other excuse they can come up with.

We went through this in the Championship years.

Let's be real with ourselves. We might be 6-0 but Spurs are still the team to beat in the West. Regular season success is meaningless. Spurs have dominated the West in the playoffs the last couple of years.

Just their opinion. They are entitled to have an opinion. All three Texas teams are good, so you will get differing opinions. The Rockets haven't really accomplished anything yet, so I have no problems with what they said.

Difference is we don't get the same respect the Spurs and the Mavs do.
And honestly, they've both won a championship in the last five years.

We need to deliver on that front.

The irony is that these players sound awfully like Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin.
