I was wondering if anyone had recommendations or knew someone who could help out on the following: 1. Limo from church to reception/reception to hotel. 2. We want to take a couple of dance lessons beforehand. 3. Good place for brunch the next morning/afternoon in The Woodlands. TIA
No suggestions, but congrats again. Was fun briefly meeting you and your fiancee over cheeseburgers and blues. Ya'll make a really cute couple.
Stop at a strip bar. A couple won't help. Take maybe 3 to 5. If you're not black or "latino", take 20 to 30 Depending on how drunk you are, in the Baker Hughes parking lot. Seriously, though: ¡Felicidades! (congratulations!) What dancing do you want to do? Country-western? Pop? Hip-Hop? Trance? Salsa? Merengue? Cumbia? Tejano? Chumbumbubuley? There's this dance professional team on Richmond between TangleWild and Jeanetta on the King Dollar side... I forget the name...
RM- If you can get a hold of pasox2, he can you give you the lowdown on good instructors around the city. Congrats man.
We rode in my family's '55 chevy instead of a limo. You can rent all kinds of cars - just my 2 cents... for dance lessons try http://www.breakdance.com/
1. I know peeps who've used Everyone's Limo & had no complaints. 2. Tell your woman to email my woman; iirc, pasox2 on the bbs would be a good source too; 3. No idea.
Yup, three weeks from Saturday! Can't freaking wait. Thanks for the posts guys. MR MEOWGI, that's a good idea. Do you know where we could rent cars like that?
Well it was free for us... I don't know of any classic car rental places, but the is bound to be some. I would call exotic car rental places and ask them if they have some or know any. (Taking off in a 2005 Corvette convertible etc. would be fun too, this place shows one - 24 hours for $350 http://www.eliteexoticcars.com/cars_sports.htm). I would also maybe contact some classic car clubs to find some info if the phone book doesn't have any for some reason.
If you REALLY love your fiance, you would hire this guy as your photographer. http://www.storybookweddings.com/pricing3589/coverage.html He only charges $120,000 a day.
I HIGHLY recommend Beginners Only on Westeimer. He charges 150 dollars one time rate for UNLIMITED Dance lessons. Ask for Allen. He's very experienced and is a very good teacher. That's where we went earlier in the year when we got married and he's helped us tremendously. He's opened 10am-10pm every day. Trust me on this. Good luck and congrats man!
I have absolutely no advice because when it comes to this topic, I'm as out of my element as Kobayashi at a Weight Watcher's meeting... But I just wanted to wish you my most sincerest congratulations and well wishes for a happy life and future with your new bride.
so where exactly is your wedding going to be? i'd like some background on the 10 hottest ladies that will be there - and a name that i can use of somebody who won't be there - so that i can do my thang. congrats
The Woodlands Resort (Executive Conference Center) The Glass Menagerie has a swanky champagne brunch there with a snazzy lake/golf course view. The Woodlands Dining Room there has a boring name, but it also has a tasty brunch with a nice view as well.
We also left our wedding in a classic car. A friend set it up so I'll call him and try to get some details. Congrats RM.
Congratulations Cuz. Will this make your wife-to-be my cousin-in-law? We have killer family reunions that usually involve a beachhouse, so I hope she likes the beach. As for the dancing lessons, I would reccomend multiple back to back viewings of Napoleon Dynamite.
