Man, I couldn't believe my luck when I received this email from First Colony Mall today. If I spend just $300 bucks I can get one of these real sweet lids! Awesome! Thanks First Colony!
300 bucks at 2 or more stores?? Am I reading that correctly? So 600 bucks? If you read the fine print, it says, "while supplies last". Dammit, Im sure that they are out of those caps by now. If this thread was posted a little earlier, we may have been fortunate enough to get our hands on those. Edit: So that means if I spend 250 bucks at 3 stores, I still dont get the hat. I'd like to meet the geniuses that came up with this and then I'd proceed to take their jobs.
Who cares about that cap...I was hoping to spend at least $600 so I can have the right to advertise for Abercrombie.
HEY! They warned you that this wasn't a "thinking cap." So stop overanalyzing this! I'm gonna buy a bunch of clothes, redeem my hat, and then return the clothes!!! Yeah, stickin' it to the man!
$600 for one hat. $600 for 60 hats. $0 for my own email add that will give 2 hats for every $600 dollards you give me. Well, the hats aren't totaly free, there's still a $10 dollar S&H fee. Then again, that one hat is pretty entising.
this is what happens when a bunch of smart people get together in a board room. buying the cap for 10 bucks would make too much sense to the public.
Is it $600 total at 2 or more stores or is it spend $300 total at 2 or more stores? What am I saying? As if it matters...
$300 at 2 or more stores.... I think it sucks that if I spend $300 at four stores ($1200) I still only get 1 stinkin' cap.
I wonder why they stuck the dreadlocked dude in the ad. He's not wearing a hat. Maybe the whitebread Ad Execs at First Colony asked the modeling agency for someone who looked "urban," but then decided the model's dreadlocks were so "urban" that putting a hat on top of them would spoil his urbanosity.
This reminds me of the lunch tote I use when I pack my lunch for work. It has a logo of Sam Houston Racepark on it. They were giving them away the last time I went to the horse racing track, about a year ago. Gave you one right when you walked in the door. At the end of the evening, mine wound up costing me $150. Live and learn.
Ya but read the fine print: EXCLUDES DEPARTMENT STORES!!! This is geared towards back to school, isn't that where most parents shop for school clothes?
