We got nothing in return besides Battier. We traded the rights to gay and got rid of Stro to bring just Battier here.

 

we were going to pick greene at 25 anyway, but in return got that small SMALL center and a future 2nd from a scrub team. so, expect a early 2nd rounder next year.

Memphis got owned in trades for their 2 best players (Miller, Gasol). I mean seriously, if Rockets fans didn't have such a stiffy for Rudy Gay, who is likely to be the answer to the trivia question "Which NBA player scored the most regular season points without scoring in the post season?", they would see that the Grizzlies are the most pathetic franchise in the sport and should be dissolved. They are bad for competitive balance and are hemmoraging $$$ in a city that doesn't give a damn about NBA ball. At least Adriana Lima will be at their home games.

I submit he was actually a little better then the team expected when they got him. Granted, Rudy is a lot better but those are the fortunes of drafting and trades.
