    Wow,

Its amazing what people say when you start to win. Fred Carter on NBATV just said do not be suprised to see a Van Gundy v. Van Gundy NBA Finals. He went on to say that Houston has the b est Role Players on the face, and that they are the only team that is built to take on San Antonio. He also said that San Antonion has no chance in hell at containing McGrady. Then this lady, did not catch her name sorry, agreed wholeheartedly with him. She said it was the best team since last years Pistons, and that Seattle and Phoenix have had a good season, but to be prepared to be sent home by the Rockets in the playoffs. Spiro agreed, he's the host, as well. IN all every person on that set, 4 people, backed eachother up on their statements of the Rockets. This feels like the end of the 'Stros season last year.

How about beating four of the top five teams in the west in a row and sweeping a four game road trip against three of the four top teams in the West?

Just to play devil's advocate. I agree we need to continue playing at this level. But if we keep our remaining guys healthy, I like out chances.

No Juwan Howard no title contention. Duncan, Nowitzki, Garnett, and Amare would tear us up bad.

i was watching last night when coach carter was all over rocket jock. he also admitted that he is a bandwagoneer, that whoever was hot was his team. still, you're right, the whole panel agreed that we were gonna be dangerous in the playoffs. i hope the jho injury doesn't set us back much. i think NBATV has some pretty good and varied analysis.

Lol. Duncan, Nowitzki, Garnett and Amare will tear us up bad anyway. I hope we're not pinning our hopes on the weakest link of our starting lineup. It sucks to lose him, but we can weather losing him better than losing any other starter. And, it's a team game; Duncan will go nuts on us all series with or without Juwan, but if we can outplay them in the other 4 spots, we're fine.

How can you say that Juwan is the weakest link, when Spoon hasn't even gotten a sniff at playing this season? Padgett hasn't been playing lately either. If Juwan was so interchangeable, you would have seen somebody else get major minutes. The Rockets can hold their fort while Juwan is out, but they don't have any post game or midrange jumper threat at the PF position. T-Mac and Juwan were the second highest scoring duo last season (behing Shaq/Kobe) because they run the pick and roll to perfection. There's a familiarity factor between Tracy and Juwan. T-Mac has more assists dished to Juwan than anybody else on the team. We NEED Juwan for the playoffs.

LOL....Those guys will tear us up anyway. We might win the game, but they will have their way with any 4 we throw out there.

LOL. Everybody called JHow soft. Now that he's gone, he was suddenly the answer to Duncan, Dirk and Amare?

Look, if Chucky Brown can hold Charles Barkley in his prime to 2 points (or whatever it was), then Clarence Wetherspoon isn't a lost cause.

RE: Garnett, he has to make the playoffs first. Right now their in 10th place.

The only chance in hell we have of containing TD is if he has to sit due to injury.

Because PF, not Juwan alone, is the "weakest link".

Here's hoping Sura/James at least show up against Tony Parker, as opposed to whatever it was Strick did.

Howard is only out for 4 weeks, I'm sure he'll be back for the playoffs.

We have to prove we can win at home. We are one of the top 5 road teams in the league but really struggle at home. If we can prove we can win games at home when the team seems to be a little too relaxed at times, we have a legit shot at going deep into the playoffs.

I'm not ready to call us a finals contender. I still think a healthy San Antonio wipes out everyone, but the very fact we can have the discussion is a huge leap forward.
