    Quarterback Jeff Garcia was frank about a number of issues Monday: his performance, the effect of his injuries, the current situation, the receivers, the Lions' practice habits and their need to throw downfield more.

    Meanwhile, a woman who identified herself as his girlfriend, Carmella DeCesare, called a sports talk radio show on WXYT-AM (1270).

    "I'm disappointed," she said. "I hear people call in, and I hear people say they lose respect for him, he makes excuses. ... He's not making any excuses. ... If you want to talk about losing respect, I was at the game yesterday, and in all honesty, I've lost respect for this town."

    The woman said she was upset with the negativity of Detroit fans during Sunday's 21-16 loss to Minnesota. When Garcia struggled, fans chanted "JO-EY!" for benched quarterback Joey Harrington. She said some rooted for Garcia to get hurt.

    "I think that's what bothers me most," she said. "They want to see a winning team, and I understand that, and they've got every right to feel that way. But I just think yesterday was a bit much."

    She definitely looks HOT in pictures, but I she was on the VH1 show "Girls Next Door" (the one about the Playboy playmates) and she didn't look near as stunning, unfortunately.

    This woman could probably have any man she wants but yet she has curiously picked a below average (in height) NFL QB. Makes me wonder if Garcia has assets that are above average. :p :eek:
