Hey Smeg--sorry, this is off topic, but you're in Australia right? Do you remember a really crappy old soap opera called "Sons and Daughters" ? Just wondering...

Well Cat finished the game with 41 points, and what makes it even WILDER is that fact he shot 53.8% from the field, and shot 66.6% from beyond the arc, and shot 84.6% from the FT line! He was just a man on a mission tonight!

He was also a man being "guarded" far too often by Bob Sura. [IMG]

I've been expecting an explosion like this from the way we've been using Cat since he started.

Before Cat was a starter, Francis would see who between Mo' and Walt was hot in the 1st. The plan being to get one of them off. Now we add Cat to the mix. Since starting, Francis would test Cat to see if he could make his first shots. He hasn't done it, yet, until last night. He hit the first shot of the game (a 3), then hit one behind the pnr, then ... then ... Mobley hits The "Ill-Advised" One that we all shake our heads at ... the running, fadeaway jumper. When that fell for 3-for-3, all bets are off, and Francis points the offense to Cat.

I think we can expect a serious increase in scoring average for Mobley simply based on the number of times Francis finds that the hot hand in the 1st Q is Mobley.
Mobley must be tested in the 1st, but he must accept the nights Francis thinks someone else has the hot hand.

cat WAS the instant offense off the bench. good enough for 18ppg.

not cat IS the instant offense in the starting lineup.

is he good enough for 25ppg? i think so. and if i'm right, he'll be an allstar real soon - maybe starting with steve one day.

And that my friends is why Mobley will be a 25ppg player within 2-3 years.
