And any more picks the Pels require other than Houston’s 2022 1st.

I would take him for pocket change. Work with him to drop 50+ lbs, develop agility. He can still be a solid NBA player, just not a GOAT the media hyped him as.

What are the chances any of those three assets reaches the level Zion has already reached? Realistically, is it lower or higher than Zion’s chance of returning to that?

Yes, I have no doubt Gooney will be great but Zion has much higher upside. Go boom or bust with Jalen and Zion nuclear athleticism, Embiid had major issues and didn’t even get into consistent action until he was 22. I’d be willing to take that gamble knowing it could blow up in my face

Realistically, it's likely that all of those assets are in the NBA long after Zion eats his way out of the league entirely.

    F**k no.

He's gonna be injured and fat his whole career. Even if he stays healthy, in shape, cares and wants to be here (lot of ifs), he doesn't have the skills to be a franchise player

Zion will never get his weight under control and that issue will continue to create injury risks for him.

2023 the rockets will easily have a top 3 pick again. I'd keep that instead. But Tilman/FO are all idiots so it could happen

Zion has played in just 85 games his 1st 3 years in the league

I would pass…not because I hold the likes of Tate and Sengun in such high regard, but because Zion is too risky and a lost cause health-wise

I probably would. Yes, I think Zion is destined for a very short career. But I believe he still has high value throughout the league - probably higher than this trade package.
