    It's a metaphor.

The bag of flaming poop represents Dwight's play as of late.
The immature adult Billy Madison represents Dwight Howard.
The old man stepping in the poop represents the fans.

Instead of focusing on his education (Bball IQ), Billy is goofing off with his buddies (Josh Smith). Billy (Dwight) is so cocksure about his future, he had the audacity to put his flaming bag of poop (skills) on our doorstep and ring our doorbell. The poor old man (us fans) was forced to stomp out the flaming bag of poop (watch Dwight play last night). Meanwhile Billy and pals continue laughing and mocking the old man.
