    Battier, Anderson, Cook for
    IGGY

    Why Houston does it:

If T-Mac comes back we have a chance to compete with IGGY in the middle spelled by Hayes, Dorsey, and Pops.

Buddinger/Taylor hold down the 2 and get valuable experience until T-Mac gets back.

Iggy's contract expires after the season.

    Why Cleveland does it:

Battier is a solid role player and makes their defense stifling. With the addition of Shaq they want to go for it now. Anderson might be able to spell Shaq some.

    Successful Trade Scenario
    Congratulations on a successful trade.

    No way.

Iggy is nothing special at all. We'd be trading defense, shooting and size for athleticism, essentially. Iguodala has yet to impress me at all.

EDIT: Just realized you were talking about Ilgauskas.

Definitely no. I don't want an aging, slow-footed center on this team which wants to get up and down.

And since when is Ilgauskas known as "Iggy"???

    Very misleading thread.

i would trade ariza....he's not that good. didnt like him new york. didnt like him in orlando. liked him in LA. he made lots of open shots created by kobe, gasol, and odom....

i wont like him here. he'll essentially be the same non factor he was in new york and orlando.

NO WAY !! Iguodala is wayy overpaid and has yet to live up to his contract. He cannot consistently score or shoot the ball. Ariza already gives us the length and defense that we need. Heck I'd even take a 80% Tmac over Iggy.

I'm confused? Do you mean trade for Ilgauskas or for Iguodala?

No one refers to the Big Z as Iggy. As a result of this confusion I started out reading what I thought was the worst trade proposal ever conceived on this forum. FAIL.

    Thread starters fails!

I really couldn't figure out who he was talking about at first. Then I thought that Iggy was Iguodala and got confused because he is most often referred to as AI (or AI2, etc) by Philly announcers. Only reason I figured it was Big Z was after he posted the trade scenario and it said Cleveland.

    Stop confusing people!

The people we are trading aren't exactly young, but I wouldn't make the trade without a good prospect in return. Shane would fit in well with Cleveland. They would definitely make the trade; however, I kind of doubt that the rockets would agree to it.

Also, I can't believe people here think Battier is more valuable than Iguodala. That guy is the face of that franchise right now...they'd never trade him for Battier and Anderson.
