I think it MIGHT be fair value and I think that's what it would take for the Rockets to get Love. Dwight alone wouldn't be enough. I also think Ariza has regressed this year. I'd do that trade because I still think Kevin Love is an elite player. Hiring Thibs would be a must though. And that leaves room still for a MAX contract in the off season.
For Love and Mozgov. But I'd prfer Dwight, brew, TJ for Love and Mozgov Bev / Ty Harden / Thorn Ariza / KJ Love / DMO / Josh Mozgov / Cap
Not sure about that specific trade (unless it were the only feasible option), but I would absolutely do a deal centered around Dwight and Love. Jones probably has to get moved regardless of what happens with Dwight.

If I am Cleveland i'd do it in a minute They have Tristan Thompson to work next to Dwight They can do without Love as seen last year. Motivated Dwight > Mosgov - but Mosgov has more upside. Cleveland doesn't have time to waste. Ariza would stiffen their defense instantly. They would have a very strong line up of Irving - Ariza - Lebron - Thompson - Dwight Which IMO matches up favorable with any team in the league Rocket River
I find the notion that Ariza is still a plus defender somewhat humorous. He has not been good on defense this year. If you can get Love, you can wipe the slate clean and get better role players because your window just got extended.
