My stepdad was born in Houston.

Then Yao Ming was drafted by the Rockets.

That's when they became relevant to me.

    So I was a YOF.

However, I didn't realize this site existed back then.

When I had a free time in the summer of 2012, I found this site.

So I joined but now I'm categorize as a LOF due to my join date.

    :'(

But no, I won't leave this forum just because Lin got traded.

He is a nice guy and I enjoyed his tenure here.

    I wish him the best.

I'm disappointed a lot of people voted yes though.

    :/

I have a feeling whatever team Lin is traded to, especially a team that plays the PNR, he will be better.

I'm going to feel really sorry for the fans of whichever team lands him in Houston's eventual salary dump.

Unless... he gets traded to the Jazz. In which case it would be hilarious to read how Jazz fans have to deal with LOFs. Please, Utah. You know you want that 1st round pick and no FA want to sign there anyway.

I did stop watching Rockets games when Yao retired. It just happened, I didn't plan on it or was trying to make a statement. When Yao left, Rockets just wasn't emotionally relevant anymore. I am pretty sure I will not follow Rockets if Lin doesn't return.

I pray he lands in Portland. Regardless of where he goes. It will be so entertaining to see them infest all of the teams blogs, forums and discussion sites.

    They'll have a field day.

    damn, 63% yes?

too bad it wasn't a public poll, 99% sure those 64% (as of this post) registered AFTER 12/2011, the first go around for Lin....

You are a player only fan (pof), be it Yao/Hakeem/Jordan/Magic, Kareem/Cousy,
as I am. Doesn't matter what team, I follow the player(s). In this case, a player who epitomizes sportsmanship, team, and integrity. in spite of all the CF overt hate mongering and McHale's covert racism, Lin has persevered. Please free Lin!

Can we use these poll results to do a mass-banning? 2/3 of people who responded said yes? That's ****ing disgusting.

I don't think any sane Lin fans mind that. He can learn under Tony Parker, and that's what matters.
