Have a GM who takes chances and gambles to be the best and win championships, or a GM who plays it safe and does not take chances to put out the best possible product, instead settles for 2nd or 3rd best only focusing on winning in the regular season and a playoff series to keep selling tickets?

I know this is thinly veiled attack on Morey but I'm struggling to find the feature. Morey is saddled by the whims of the Owner. Morey is spending Tilman's money. Morey wants to win and will take the risks he is allowed to take.

Remember Morey wanted to tank during his time with Les, but Les said no. Morey had to work under those constraints. Morey is currently working under the constraints of not bankrupting Tilman.

    Eat at Landry's.

Where's option 3, Morey, who dabbles in between both choices?

Harden/CP3 is the best duo we’ve had since we were winning championships.

We didn’t “luck” into acquiring either of those guys.

If you think DM isn’t swinging for the fences you’re out of your mind.

We peaked at a bad contract cycle.

Cp3 is old but said and did all the right things he could directly control last year.... Magically swept away fat hardens weaknesses to seasons ago.

If we outperform last last season (the Anderson signing), does that still mean Morey failed?

Probably, but it's a high bar we're rightfully holding him to

Morey didn’t bring in Paul it was Harden recruiting him so that is on Harden and if Paul wasn’t such a greedy MF and took a little less so we could fill out the roster with better players then we would be in a beta place

There should be a middle ground.

Morey does not handle championship windows that well. He cannot draft that well in the first round.

This team still has no identity outside of Harden and CP3 please save us with your 30+ ppg performances and everyone switch defend to the death!
