Back to back games, and add the results to our history last year, it is pretty clear that the Mavs have our numbers(they beat us five in a row) while we own the Suns(we whipped them four straight times). So, if you were to only choose one, would you rather end our looking streak against the Mavs or continue our domination of the Suns? Remember, this is only for discussion's sake, and you can only choose one. Beating the Suns or the Mavs?

id rather beat the mavs because of cubans reaction and the fans calling houston "toiletville" on realgm. mavs are the most hated for me. If they ever win a championship I will no longer watch the nba. I dont want the nba to be like baseball with the haves and have nots of rich owners always winning like yankees. For the Rockets, it would be best if they could beat BOTH the Mavs & Suns. But if they could only beat one team, then it would be the Suns because the Mavs is a locked team for the playoff. The Suns is pretty shaky.
I would rather lose to Mavs. Firstly, it is an away game. Secondly, If we need to beat a team in order to get a higher seed by a tie-breaker, the team should be Suns rather than Mavs. Thirdly, Sun beat us for a 8th seed and ROY last year, it is time to revenge! I am confident that we can beat Mavs at least once this season. Mark my words!
Quality wins are important therefore Mav's are the better team. Suns are a good team but the Mav's are boarder line elite.
OK dude, listen, our position is important. If we're fighting with the Suns for the 8th playoff spot, we'd want to beat the Suns. If we're goin' against the Mavs for 1st in the WC, we'd want to beat the Mavs. I don't like either team, so no matter which team we lose to I'd be pissed off.
I think a Mavs win would have done more for the team's overall confidence in its abilities than the Suns win, so I would rather have had that. But splitting the two games is pretty good.
We had a great chance against the Mavs. If our players shot a little bit better, we would have owned them with at least 5 pts
of course both, but the suns game might be more important in the long run. we're more likely to battle phoenix for playoff positioning than dallas.
