News is really slow out of Texans camp, so I thought this might be fun. The Texans current home jersey are the white shirts, blue pants, red socks. Having gone to the game against the Jags I became really enamored and would like to see the jerseys through out the year. If you go to the Texans store, you'll notice how nice they look.

If you like the red shirts, do you like the red pants with it? Oh and none of this "i just want the team to win" b.s. Obviously that is what everyone wants. It has to matter what image your team puts out there.

how about some all blue ones, similar to the battle red?

though, i'm not sure these are the red one's you're referring to. i thought the battle red included red pants as well.

They should get rid of the blue jersey/white pants, and white jersey/blue pants combos.

They should go all blue at home, all white away, and bring out the battle red in any combination for those special games.

i love the all battle red look that we had for the broncos game. there are alot of teams in the nfl with red jerseys (49ers, chiefs, cards, giants, to name a few), but the all red look is a really unique one that could really set us apart from the other teams.

I'm sick of the blue. You know what? Blue LEFT. Blue PLAYS IN TENNESSUCK. And every other Houston major wears red. I think the Texans should switch as well. And dump the blue helmets; they should wear either red or white helmets in the UH uniforms.

Oh, and I also think they should change the name too. I liked Wildcatters. And I also like '36ers (despite some lunacy with that dictator Santa Anna).

either the red with white pants or the blue with blue pants.

the all blue uniforms look much better than the blue/white pants combo.

There's my vote. I loved the all blue kits they wore early in the season. The all white was ok.

IIRC, they are 6-2 or 7-2 when wearing red. I think they should at least consider a 1 season trial.

I'd also vote to get rid of the blue jerseys. My favorite combinations in order are: White jerseys, blue pants; All-red; and red jerseys, white pants.

Clarification, though: I'm pretty sure that the "home uniform" is the blue jerseys, white pants. The only team that wears white at home is the Cowgirls, so we shouldn't go to that.

    The Broncos also wear all-white.

Personally I just love that sea of battle/blood red -- it looks awesome. I wouldn't mind all-red for home games. The Texans have been extremely formidable at home lately, anyways.

    I voted red.

The blue jerseys don't look good because that shade of blue is too dark. The blue in the texas flag is a more traditional blue.

If the Texans want a better blue jersey, they should scrap the navy blue, and change it to the blue that is below...

I don't think they have an "official" home jersey but they where white more than blue. This year they wore white 5 times, blue 3 times and red twice.

All white on the road , and solid Battle Red for home games . I think a red helmet would look pretty cool too .

I never liked the combos, it should be solid red, white or blue every game. The red/white combo is the worst eyesore in the NFL. It's too much, since they have a blue helmet they should have blue pants, that would look clean. Dynamo need to go solid also, orange tops with white shorts just doesn't look right. White with orange shorts looks okay but all white would probably look better.

I've been a Texans season ticket holder for 6 years now and I still don't know what the official "home" jerseys are. They try to play to the weather, like having the roof open for the Steeler game a couple years ago in August and making them wear their black jersey's. Didn't work, we still lost but were really hot! If the weather is cooler or the roof is closed its really a crapshoot on what they decide to wear. I hope they go solid colors from now on.
